October 25, 2024

It is Friday! On this day, you do not know what you do not know.

Friday, October 25, 2024 is a great day for the federal government.  Today, the federal government currently has 151 documents from 64 agencies (386 Pages) with 130 Notices, 6 Proposed Rules, 15 Rules, and 4 Significant Document.    With this current issue, Federal Register / Vol. 89, No. 207 / Friday, October 25, 2024 / Notices is up to page 85420.  The federal government is busy.  Imagine how much your State or Local Governments have been up to lately.

Something interesting from the significant documents. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), starting November 25, 2024 “…is amending the REAL ID regulations to waive, on a temporary and State-by-State basis, the regulatory requirement that mobile or digital driver's licenses or identification cards (collectively “mobile driver's licenses” or “mDLs”) must be compliant with REAL ID requirements to be accepted by Federal agencies for official purposes, as defined by the REAL ID Act, when full enforcement of the REAL ID Act and regulations begins on May 7, 2025.”

Bet you did not even know that in 2005 the Federal Government enacted the recommendations from the 9/11 Commission to set minimum standards for driver’s licenses and identifications.  Find out more information here: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id

This might be good, might be bad...

From USDebtClock.org

According to the US Debt Clock at roughly 12:37 PM, the US debt is roughly $35,823,153,000,000.    It seems that the debt per taxpayer is $271,888.   The good news is that the federal government revenue is roughly $5,008,591,000,000.  Not too shabby if you ask me.

Special Note: Interest of Debt (Net) is $976,512,000,000.

Something interesting for the day:

From Spaceweather.com, “GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH: NOAA forecasters are predicting a G1-class geomagnetic storm on Oct. 26th when a CME is expected to graze Earth's magnetic field. The CME was hurled into space yesterday by a powerful solar flare (X3.3) from sunspot AR3869. It is not heading straight for our planet, but even a glancing blow from this potent CME could spark bright auroras at high latitudes. Aurora alerts: SMS Text

Amazing website with great information about the Earth-Sun environment.

If you are not too busy today, then buy a shirt or two.
