October 18, 2024

On this day, you do not know what you do not know.

Friday, October 18, 2024 is a great day for the federal government.  Today, the federal government currently has 203 documents from 50 agencies (303 Pages) with 179 Notices, 6 Presidential Documents, 2 Proposed Rules, 16 Rules, and 1 Significant Document.    With this current issue, Federal Register / Vol. 89, No. 202 / Friday, October 18, 2024 / Notices is up to page 84063.  The federal government is busy.  Imagine how much your State or Local Governments have been up to lately.

Six (6) Presidential Documents:

  1. Delegation of Authority Under Section 506(a)(1) and Section 614(a)(1) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

  1. Delegation of Authority Under Section 506(a)(1) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

  1. Delegation of Authority Under Section 506(a)(3) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

  1. Presidential Determination on Refugee Admissions for Fiscal Year 2025 by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

  1. Presidential Determination With Respect to the Efforts of Foreign Governments Regarding Trafficking in Persons by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

  1. Presidential Determination and Certification With Respect to the Child Soldiers Prevention Act of 2008 by the Executive Office of the Presidenton 10/18/2024.

With these six (6) declarations, the Federal Government will transfer money to Ukraine, change the number of refugees admitted to the United States, support foreign governments efforts regarding human trafficking, and changes in the application to certain countries regarding child soldiers.  All good stuff, since each one of these directly aids people all over the world.

According to the US Debt Clock at roughly 12:50 PM, the US debt is roughly $35,763,886,000,000.    It seems that the debt per taxpayer is $271,577.   The good news is that the federal government revenue is roughly $4,945,744,000,000.  Not too shabby if you ask me.

Special Note: Interest of Debt (Net) is $970,842,000,000.

Something interesting for the day:

From Spaceweather.com, “SOLAR MAX IS UNDERWAY: In a joint statement on Oct. 15th, NASA and NOAA announced that Solar Maximum is underway. If you saw last week's geomagnetic storm, you may have already reached the same conclusion. Good news: Solar Max is not a narrow moment in time; it is a lengthy phase of solar activity that can last for 2 or 3 years. More aurora outbursts are likely in 2024 and 2025. Aurora alerts: SMS Text

Amazing website with great information about the Earth-Sun environment.
