A great Monday to you! To start the day, remember that you do not know what you do not know.  It takes work to find out something new.

Federal Holiday: Columbus Day – Thank you Christopher Columbus for find this place.  On this day, to celebrate the Federal Government is closed for business.  Banks and many institutions are closed also.  This is an important day to remember that more Federal Holidays might be a good thing.

Monday, October 14, 2024 is a good day for the federal government even when closed.

From Spaceweather.com, “GEOMAGNETIC STORM WATCH (G1): Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible on Oct. 15th and 16th due to a CME now en route to Earth. It was launched from sunspot AR3854 on Oct. 11th, and is expected to deliver only a glancing blow. CME impact alerts: SMS Text

Amazing website with great information about the Sun.

October 14, 2024 at roughly 9:45 AM, the US debt is roughly $35,702,508,000,000.    It seems that I personally owe $271,189.   The good news is that the federal government revenue is roughly $4,940,304,000,000.  Not too shabby if you ask me.  At this rate without any spending, it would take a long time to bring the debt down.  What do I know, not an economist, nor slept at a Holiday Inn Express.

Buy a shirt or two. Why not? It’s is Monday and all is well.
