A great Thursday to you!
You do not know what you do not know. Let us find something out together.
November 14, 2024 is a good day for the federal government. Today, the federal government currently has 205 documents from 49 agencies (313 Pages) with 194 Notices, 2 Presidential Documents, 3 Proposed Rules, 6 Rules, and 2 Significant Document. With this current issue, Federal Register / Vol. 89, No. 220 / Thursday, November 14, 2024 / Notices is up to page 90220. The federal government is busy.
The 2 Presidential Documents:
World Freedom Day, 2024 by the Executive Office of the President on 11/14/2024.
“Today marks 35 years since the Berlin Wall came down. Its fall was one of the greatest advances in human dignity in my lifetime. As we celebrate this anniversary, may we all remember that what brought the Berlin Wall down and lifted the Iron Curtain is what keeps the flame of liberty shining bright around the world: the determination of free people everywhere who never fail to stand up for their freedoms and their democracy.” The Proclamation continues on touting the President’s record on the world stage as it relates to Ukraine, social justice, and democracy. On November 9, 2024, President Biden proclaims World Freedom Day! While it happened a few days ago, it is never too late to remember and learn the history of Germany and the impact this country had on the world.
To Facilitate Positive Adjustment to Competition From Imports of Fine Denier Polyester Staple Fiber by the Executive Office of the President on 11/14/2024.
This is a great proclamation by the President. After careful consideration and only 29 comments regarding the imports of fine denier PSF, the President is taking action. Here is the thing about this Presidential Document, I know nothing about this topic. To learn about this topic, a person would need to read through the various trade bills outlined in the proclamation, the supporting public comments, the research and determination of the impact, and have some clue as to the products usage.
For months, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has been investigating, reviewing, and listening to experts regarding fine denier PSF. They voted and sent the results to the President. In the end, the President made a decision and issued this action.
So, do you want to spend the time and energy to learn about this in detail to know if this proclamation Is this good or bad?
There are still 3 Proposed Rules and more 6 more rules. Every one of these items are directly related to some legislation or regulatory action which all Americans are expected to know. The legal rule of thumb is that, “Ignorance of the law is no defense.” The Federal Register and other public sources of information provide information about the laws, rules, and regulations.
As always, how can anyone living today keep up with all these notices?
US Debt Clock Update
According to the US Debt Clock at roughly 9:54 AM, the US debt is roughly $35,998,074,000,000. Each taxpayer’s portion of the debt is $272,821. The good news is that the federal government revenue is roughly $5,037,582,000,000. Not too shabby if you ask me.
Special Note: Interest of Debt (Net) is $992,673,000,000.
The Sun Update
From Spaceweather.com, “20% CHANCE OF X-FLARES: Remember, Groundhog Day? Today's forecast feels a little like that movie. Once again, AR3889 is threatening to produce an X-class solar flare without actually producing one. The sunspot has an unstable 'beta-gamma-delta' magnetic field that could explode at any moment. NOAA forecasters estimate a 20% chance of X-flares on Nov. 14th. Solar flare alerts: SMS Text”
Amazing website with great information about the Earth-Sun environment.
