National Impaired Driving Prevention Month, 2024 by the Executive Office of the President on 12/05/2024.
This proclamation presents the Month of December 2024 as National Impaired Driving Prevention Month. Take a moment to realize that the entire month is dedicated to raising awareness that drunk or drug-impaired driving causes more than 10,000 deaths annually. The goal is to get to and from your destination safely.

World AIDS Day, 2024 by the Executive Office of the President on 12/05/2024.
This proclamation assigns December 1, 2024 as World AIDS Day. With all the achievements since this disease began in 1981, there are still more succumbing every year. It is not just the United States, but the entire planet is suffering.

The two Significant Document:
Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System by the Children and Families Administration on 12/05/2024.
This final rule is effective on February 3, 2025 with the exception of the amendments § 1355.44 (amendatory instruction 3), which are effective as of October 1, 2028. The summary from the document, “This rule finalizes revisions to the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS) regulations proposed on February 23, 2024. This final rule requires state title IV-E agencies to collect and report to ACF additional data related to the Indian Child Welfare Act of 1978 (ICWA) for children in the AFCARS Out-of-Home Care Reporting Population.”
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Employment and Training Program Monitoring, Oversight and Reporting Measures; Correction by the Food and Nutrition Service on 12/05/2024.
This is a correction on the final rule which is effective January 17, 2025. The correction applies to Section § 273.7, with change to two sections related to, “(E) E&T participants who obtained high school diploma or equivalency prior to referral to E&T services; and”. The second correction in the same section, “(C) E&T participants who obtained high school diploma or equivalency prior to referral to E&T services;”
All the other parts in those paragraphs and sections remain unchanged.
US Debt Clock Update
According to the US Debt Clock at roughly 5:49 AM, the US debt is roughly $36,194,701,000,000. Each taxpayer’s portion of the debt is $271,790. The good news is that the federal government revenue is roughly $5,067,885,000,000. Not too shabby if you ask me.
Special Note: Interest of Debt (Net) is $1,009,565,000,000.
